By taking advantage of a lower-lid blepharoplasty incision, surgeons can now address the midface without expensive endoscopic equipment. This new approach provides a vertical vector of lift while eliminating the need for the temporal dissection that is required with other approaches.
The Midface B device eliminates fixation suture by affixing the fixation platform and leash to the infraorbital rim with a bioabsorbable screw anchor. Once attached, the total height of the leash and screw-anchor is less than 1.0 mm to minimize palpability.
