Webcast Trouble Shooting Guide

If you are having problems viewing the prerecorded web casts below are a few troubleshooting instructions:

1.

Check in the preferences menu of your web browser for the pop-up windows turned off or blocked

2.

You may need to download the latest version of Windows Media Player. If so click on the icon below to get the free download.

Windows Media Player download – PC

Windows Media Player download – MAC OS X

Windows Media Player 7.1 download – MAC OS 8.1 or later

3.

For viewers using windows XP with service pack two installed, you may also need to activate the Active X plug in or allow “Pops Ups” to pass. By default, the new security features in SP 2 will prompt you every time an Active X plug in needs to be installed or if your pop up blocker is enabled and is blocking a window from the current site you are viewing. Once you try to access the web cast you will see a small window pop up asking, “Did you notice the Information Bar?” (fig A) Click “OK” to clear the window. If you look at the bottom of you browser window you will see the information bar. Use your mouse and left click on the info bar (fig B) to temporary allow pop ups or install active X control whichever you are prompted to do. Once you perform these steps, you will be able to continue viewing the web cast.
